Contraindications of laser hair removal
There are some health conditions that are widely considered to be contraindications to laser hair removal. Among them are:

- Bleeding disorders
- Severe reactions to histamines
- Previous surgery such as chemical peels and laser resurfacing
- Vitiligo

- breastfeeding
- history of seiures
- lesions, open wounds
- herpes and cold sores
- moles
- recent waxing/plucking
- depilatory creams
- epilepsy
- hirsutism
- eczema
- active infection
- accutane
- antibiotic (should be taken 3 weeks before treatment)
- Recent sunburn
